When
there is clear seeing, it is seen that enlightenment is impossible.
There is no ‘I’ to be enlightened.
Enlightenment is just a concept from the conditioning of the seeker.
If you have 100 seekers, you’ll have 100 different ideas of what
enlightenment is.
It doesn’t matter what state is achieved, it should be looked at who
claims this desired state.
There
is no ‘I’ that can be aware of awareness.
‘I’ is contained in awareness, developed in awareness.
“There
is no escape from awareness.”
-- John Wheeler
You
can’t be in the here and now.
You are now.
You are the awareness, you are the now.
"What is Satsang?"
Satsang is an invitation to look at who you really are, and to see if those
ideas that you have of yourself are real. Life seems to go by at a fast
pace, as we run around trying to get this or that. Being identified with
the seeking, it seems that there is no time to rest. This is the beauty
of satsang: there is an invitation to stop. I'm not talking about
a stopping of the body or a physical rest. The 'rest' I'm referring to
is a resting of the ideas that you have about yourself. In that moment
of rest, there is an invitation to ask, "Who am I?" "Who
is it that is seeking and what is being sought?" Satsang will point
to the truth and you will see -- you are already what you are seeking.
